Private Pay


Clients have the option to NOT use their insurance company, which has its benefits. When there is a third-party payer (i.e., your insurance) it has the ability to request confidential data and notes from our sessions.  Not submitting claims to your insurance company allows us to keep notes completely confidential. Additionally, there are certain psychiatric diagnoses that individuals receive which may prevent them from obtaining future health insurance, military admission, etc.

We offer competitive rates for individual, play, and family therapy. Furthermore, our practice offers qualified counseling graudates on site in which to complete their supervised experience to be independently licensed in the field of psychotherapy. These graduates offer discounted rates that may fit better into some budgets.

Do my insurance benefits include mental health services?


Coverage varies greatly, but our services may be covered in part or in full by your insurance provider. Please contact your HMO or health insurance plan to learn more about what your plan covers. Below are some questions that are helpful to ask:

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Will I be required to pay a copay?
  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions per year my plan covers?
  • What is my deductible?
  • Do I need to get approval from my primary care physician?

 

Cancellations


Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot make your appointment. If you miss your appointment and fail to notify us, we reserve the right to terminate services.  Please review our CLIENT HANDBOOK for further information.
